I'm determined to get my blog caught up.
Over the 4th of July we moved into my parents basement. Once Penn moved to Texas at the end of July, I was ever so grateful to be there. My parents helped out with Karlee soooo much! When they went to Africa for 10 days, I got to truly see what it was like to be a single parent and boy was I so happy when they got back (I think she was too).
I can't even begin to list all the wonderful things they did for me (us) while we were there. Karlee still asks where Grandma and Grandpa are. We're lucky that they had already planned a trip out here next weekend before we even knew we were moving out here.
Here's a few things we did before the big move:
Playing at their neighborhood park
Taking naps on the "big girl bed"
Stealing grandpa's socks and putting them on.
Watching movies in the "baby seat"
Making "silly face"
Grocery shopping with a bug sized cart. (she was rather dangerous with that thing).
Practicing her piano skills
And more park time.
We miss everyone in Utah, but are absolutely loving it here in Texas. More posts to come about the move and what we've been up to our first week and a half here.

I think I'd die without my parents help. I'm glad you got to live with them while you were apart from your honey. Glad you're finally back together now and that you're enjoying Texas! :)
