Here's a little bit about the town we live in. Little Elm, TX is a fairly small town about 45 minutes north of downtown Dallas. It's definitely growing. To illustrate, in 2000 the population was 3,000. In 2010, the population was 24,000. We live on the far east side of the town. It's pretty new out where we're at. Once you get closer to the central part of Little Elm, you get some old town feel. One of the gems of this little Little Elm is that since it's located right on Lake Lewisville it has some amazing water views and this awesome little beach. Since it's still really warm here, we decided to take a picnic to the beach last Sunday. We were the only ones there. It was a lot of fun and Karlee loved the sand and the water. They also have some neat hiking trails that go along the shore line so we took a little walk along one of them.
